Psychology Programs & Degrees

Limestone College offers a bachelor of arts in psychology, a degree program that requires the student to complete the College's general education requirement, as well as the following coursework in psychology:

  • Introduction to Psychology
  • Human Growth and Development
  • Elementary Statistics
  • Behavior Disorders
  • Contemporary Issues in Psychology
  • Learning and Memory
  • Social Psychology
  • Biopsychology
  • Experimental Psychology
  • Theories of Personality
  • Two additional courses in psychology, which can be in areas of interest, such as counseling or new courses, such as Health Psychology or the psychology internship, which are developed to meet the needs and interest of students in growing fields of work

Some psychology courses are offered for honors credit to students who qualify for the Honors Program.

The remainder of the 39 semester hours required to attain a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology can be taken from elective courses.
