GRAPHIC - Homecoming 2013Limestone College alumni will have the chance to reconnect with friends and take a stroll down memory lane this weekend, Oct. 4-5, as the Homecoming celebration comes to the Gaffney campus.

The annual event will bring together the entire community of alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends for a celebration packed with activities – including sporting events, the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction, a campus-wide picnic, the annual Saints Club Golf Tournament, and more.

Student Juried Art Exhibit to Run Through May 11

This example of a trompe l'oeil by Limestone student Holli Schwarts is made to look like a leather shoe but is actually made of clay.

A host of mediums are on display in AJ Eastwood Library during Limestone College's Juried Student Art Exhibit.

Included in the exhibit are a charcoal still life drawing and a ceramic trompe l'oeil, which is a technique involving realistic imagery in order to create an optic illusion. The trompe l'oeil in the exhibit is a clay shoe made to look like leather.

Limestone’s Open House Reception to Showcase College Artifacts

On Tuesday, March 5th at 7:00 p.m., Limestone College will host an open house reception in the Winnie Hall of History to showcase its permanent display of College artifacts.

The reception is free and open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Wrestling Team Honored Accomplished Seniors, the Most Since Its Inception in 2004
Limestone Wrestling team showing off their hardware after a successful run at the NCAA Super Region II tournament this past weekend. Senior Dan Scanlan, and Juniors Mike Magaha, Jeremy Bommarito and Kenneth Kampnich each earned right to compete at the upcoming National Tournament.
During the February 10th final home match of the season the Limestone College wrestling team won a close contest against UNC Pembroke (21-19). But it was bitter-sweet for eight seniors who participated in the last home match of their college career. The team has experienced huge growth over the years; and this year the program will graduate the most seniors since its inception in 2004.
