Limestone Theatre to Present "Much Ado About Nothing"

Limestone College Theatre will present William Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing November 11-13 in the Limestone Center Theatre (130 Leadmine Road). Curtain time each evening is 7:30 p.m.

This production is sure to prove popular, so reservations are highly encouraged. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for seniors (65-years-old and older) and students with a valid school identification. Limestone students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with college identification. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door or can be reserved at .

Senior Recital by Accomplished Limestone Student

Nicholas Shumate '11, a Limestone College Music Education major, will present his senior voice recital Tuesday, November 9th, at 7:30 p.m. in Limestone's Carroll Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.

The program will include various selections in German, Italian, French, and English including "Ich habe genug" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Ho capito, Signor Si" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Chanson triste" by Henri Duparc, "Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal" by Roger Quilter, and "Lily's Eyes" by Lucy Simon.

Domestic Violence Awareness

Domestic_ViolenceIn recognition of Social Violence Awareness Month, the Limestone College Student Social Work Organization will present an informational presentation about domestic violence.

The program is scheduled for this Thursday evening, October 28th from 7-9 pm in Fullerton Auditorium, and will feature a victim of domestic violence and a representative of Safe Homes in Gaffney. The program is free and open to the public.

The Gaffney Business and Professional Women's Club has organized an appearance at Limestone College by Nikki Haley, candidate for Governor of South Carolina, this Sunday, October 31st.

Haley will speak in Limestone's Fullerton Auditorium from 4:30-5:30 pm.
