Limestone Wind Ensemble Fall Concert Tonight!

Wind_ensembleThe 44-member Limestone College Wind Ensemble will present its fall concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, features wind and percussion instruments. Dr. Douglas Presley, Band Director and Coordinator of Music Education at Limestone, will serve as conductor.

The concert will feature performances of pieces by contemporary composers as well as a few from yesteryear, including:

Student Bellringers Raise Over $1,300 for Salvation Army
Limestone junior Ashby Pruitt volunteering for the Salvation Army.

Approaching the Thanksgiving holiday, 23 members of the Christian Education and Leadership Program rang the Salvation Army bell on two Saturdays for over 40 hours, collecting $1,387.85.

Each hour volunteered equates to an additional $7.25 per hour for the annual SA holiday fundraiser.

Steinway Series Continues with Performance by Marina Lomazov on November 29

On Tuesday, November 29th, Limestone College will continue its Steinway piano series with a performance by Ukranian-American pianist and Steinway artist Marina Lomazov.

Her performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the College's Fullerton Auditorium and will be followed by a reception with the artist in the Winnie Davis Hall of History. Both events are free and open to the public.

Limestone College and Community Chorus Presents Holiday Classics This Sunday

LCCCThe 33-voice strong Limestone College and Community Chorus will perform its fall concert Sunday, November 20th at 4:00 p.m. at Grassy Pond Baptist Church (254 Grassy Pond Road, Gaffney).

Admission is free and the public is invited.
