Campus Ministry

Limestone College Campus Ministry supports student religious groups such as Campus Crusade for Christ and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, by covering expenses for food, weekend trips, etc.  Because Limestone is dedicated to invole students in its organizations, these groups are run by the students themselves.

The Ministry arranges for community service opportunities in the Gaffney area including Community Service Day where students spend part of a Saturday visiting residents at Brookview Residential Home, as well as allowing students to help in the Gaffney Soup Kitchen.

The organization is an encouragement to other student groups on Campus in performing community service projects such as food and clothing drives for the Cherokee County Help for the Homeless Committee performed by Student Government and the canned food drive for the Red Cross performed by the Women's Lacrosse Team

In addition, the Campus Ministry team sponsors fun events, such as performers coming to campus, hikes, etc. as well as hosts a Coffeehouse Open Stage once or twice a semester.  There is no predicting what will happen at those!
